Linda Ketcham has been the Executive Director of Madison-area Urban Ministry (D/B/A JustDane) since March, 2006. As Executive Director she is responsible for overall agency management and program development, grant writing and advocacy. Linda holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Sciences from Illinois State University. Linda is in recovery from addiction and was a certified addiction counselor with the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association from 1986 through 2008. Linda facilitated the first prison based Women for Sobriety group at Logan Correctional Center in IL from 1995 – 1998. Over the past 40 years Linda has worked with children of incarcerated parents, survivors of domestic violence, people experiencing homelessness, incarcerated individuals and individuals returning to the community after incarceration.                                    

Linda currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Recovery Coalition of Dane County, The Dane County Board Public Protection and Judiciary Subcommittee on Fines and Fees, the City of Madison’s Affirmative Action Commission and is the Commission’s representative to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Awards Committee. Linda is the Co-Chair of City-County Homeless Issues Committee, and serves on the Beacon Day Center Community Advisory Committee, and on the Community Action Coalition of SC WI Board of Directors.
