Weekly Update

Well, this will be a short update since I seem to have misplaced my notes from last week!  Thank you to Rich Darga and his small group of volunteers who cleaned up along Highway 151 on the 7th. Also, thanks goes to Debbie Fox-Schroeder and Sue Halambeck for agreeing to coordinate the Sun Prairie Rotary beer tent in September.  More information will be coming about volunteering for this fun day.

• Be thinking GOLF for this Thursday, June 19 at the Sun Prairie Golf Course.  If you can't make it, bring your $$$ to tomorrow's meeting to buy raffle tickets to win a chance atA golf package at Northern Bay, A $500 guided fishing trip, A spa package or A family magic show and assorted magic tricks.
• Save the date of this Sunday, June 22 for a graduation party for Fran.  We will be meeting at Bristol Garden's Shelter from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
• The Annual Sun Prairie Rotary picnic is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1 at Orfan Park.  Plan on bringing your families and this will take the place of the morning meeting that day.  We will also be welcoming the start of Laurie Krueger's year as president.

• The Group 6 social has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 27 at Lucky's Bar and Grill in Waunakee. Put it on your calendar.

We learned this week more about the Book N It run in August.  Fellow Rotarians Harry Ripp, Ray Trimble and Heather Jones are all part of the planning.  If you would like more information, you can access the bookinitrun.com website or talk to Harry!
