Amanda is a former educator and school administrator who now serves our community through advocacy, service, and leadership. She is a Wisconsin Ambassador for Count the Kicks, helping educate families on stillbirth prevention and maternal health.

For ten seasons, Amanda has coached Girls on the Run, empowering young girls to build confidence, resilience, and recognize their own “star power.” She also proudly supports the arts in her community.

As United States of America’s Ms. Dane County, Amanda’s mission is to empower women, inspire confidence, and uplift everyone—proving that service, education, and heart make a difference right here at home.

Jill M. Weiss, P.E., is an accomplished utility executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in municipal utilities and public infrastructure. She currently serves as General Manager of Sun Prairie Utilities, where she oversees operations, regulatory compliance, financial strategy, and long-term planning. Jill has led multi-million-dollar organizations and driven initiatives that improve efficiency, reliability, and customer engagement. Her previous leadership roles include Stoughton Utilities, Alliant Energy, Jefferson Utilities, and consulting roles in the private sector. She holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has been a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in Wisconsin since 2004.

They both were just in Italy for the Paralympics curlers and are motivation speakers.  They live in DeForest  Steve and his partner Laura finished 4^th, they lost the bronze game

Fisher House provides a place for families of Veterans who are receiving treatment at the VA Hospital. There is one in Milwaukee and soon to be a ground breaking for one in Madison.

Informing the membership on that the board is reviewing the bylaws and few items we may need to look at changing.

The Sun Prairie Area School Community Organization (SPASCO) is a nonprofit organization that unites the school-community organizations of all nine Sun Prairie elementary schools to support students, teachers, and staff. SPASCO believes our community is stronger together and works to ensure every school has equitable access to support and resources. Recognizing that funding and opportunities can vary across schools, SPASCO focuses on reducing these disparities so all students and staff have consistent, enriching experiences. The organization also promotes collaboration across schools by coordinating efforts, sharing resources, reducing individual fundraising burdens, and improving communication—while still honoring the unique identity of each school community.

Cats Brew Café located at 2414 Montana Ave, Sun Prairie WI  

A place to enjoy a coffee /beverage/bakery and you can watch adoptable cats in another area.  ( Reservations are needed to visit the adoptable cats but not to enjoy coffee/beverage and bakery yummies)

They work with a cat rescue with getting cats adopted and finding “furever” homes.
