Matching Grant - Benches

The Rotary Club of Sun Prairie received a Rotary District 6250 matching grant for up to $1,500 to help support the purchase of 2 benches that will be near the library.  We need to raise $1,500 in donations to receive the full $1,500 in matching grant funds.  If you have pledged or want to donate to the benches, payment is required now.  Please make the check out to Sun Prairie Rotary Foundation and checks can go to Debbie Fox-Schroeder.

Gale Chase - Honorary Member

On Thursday, July 21, 2016, the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Sun Prairie voted to give Gale Chase, the title of Honorary Member.

What is Honorary Membership?
Honorary Membership "Honorary" is one of the four types of membership a person may have in a Rotary club and is exercised only in exceptional cases to recognize an individual for unusual service and contributions to Rotary and society.  They do not hold office, and are exempt from attendance requirements and club dues. 
 
Eligibility for Honorary Membership. Persons who have distinguished themselves by meritorious service in the furtherance of Rotary ideals and those persons considered friends of Rotary for their permanent support of Rotary's cause may be elected to honorary membership in more than one club.

Golf Outing

Rain or Shine the golf outing is on!  We are expecting over 80 golfers to participate.  Our goal is to have 100 golfers.  You can still sign up!   We are looking for raffle prizes and silent auction gifts.
