Dellavonte Hune is a passionate storyteller, Marine Corps veteran, and business leader dedicated to inspiring others through his journey of resilience and perseverance. Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Dellavonte overcame significant challenges in his youth, including homelessness, before finding purpose in service and education.
After serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps, Dellavonte transitioned into civilian life, where he discovered a passion for leadership, personal development, and business. He is the author of two books, The After (2022) and Intimacy (2024), both of which explore themes of healing, growth, and human connection. His work has resonated with readers worldwide, earning him a platform as a speaker at schools and community organizations.
Dellavonte recently completed his MBA in Aviation and will begin his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at Edgewood College in July 2025, focusing on Leadership and AI Integration in Business Decision-Making within the logistics and supply chain industry. He is also the founder of Hune’s Brokerage LLC, a freight brokerage company dedicated to optimizing transportation logistics.
Currently serving as an Account Manager at Stoughton Trucking, Dellavonte plays a key role in business development and strategic partnerships. His impact extends beyond the corporate world—he is deeply involved in his community, serving as Chair of the Personal & Professional Development Committee for the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals.
Dellavonte was recently honored as one of In Business Madison’s 40 Under 40 for his contributions to business and community leadership. His journey is guided by three principles: Resilience, Consistency, and Patience (RCP)—values he hopes to instill in others as he continues to inspire the next generation.
