Musicals, both Foreign and Domestic
Jul. 30, 2024 7:15 a.m.
My name is Mike Troudt and I’ve recently retired from teaching ESL for 23 years in Wisconsin and around the world. Prior to that, I was a librarian. I was born in Oshkosh and moved to the Madison area about one year ago. I’ve always loved movie musicals and began studying the genre at an early age. Over the years, I continued to study and enjoy not only musicals but also all types of movies, both domestic and foreign. I am proud to say that I now own every MGM musical ever made on DVD and Blu Ray and I also have an extensive collection of musicals from other studios – 250+. I also have a popular Twitter account called The Great MGM Musicals Page which has 8,000 followers and I’ve just started the same page on Facebook. I studied film history at Northwestern University many moons ago and I’ve accumulated knowledge during my nearly 60 years of delving into the genre. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and love of the film musical with you!

Park, Recreation & Forestry 5 year plan
Sep. 10, 2024 7:15 a.m.
Provided by Deb Krebs My name is Carly Persson and I serve as the Management Analyst for the City of Sun Prairie. I am helping Parks, Rec, and Forestry update their five-year Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP). Part of this planning process includes a public input survey to inform the CORP. Responses will directly impact the future of the City’s recreational spaces and amenities.
Kristin Grissom, Director of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry, and I would love the opportunity to present on the CORP and hopefully gather some input from Sun Prairie Rotarians. Would we be able to present a meeting this month?
